To bring awareness around land registration and settlement, USAID Land Registration in Merged Areas [LRMA] in collaboration of Board of Revenue, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa designed Hujra Gathering in Peshawar. The Hujra Gatherings helped to engage community in the land settlement process and generate public buy-in for Settlement and Digitization of Land Records Project (SDLR) project of GoKP. Also, the Community support for settlement offices and gain the trust of the local elders and influencers in land settlement operations. This project aimed to create a knowledgeable and informed public that understands the importance of proper legal documentation, follows legal procedures, and actively participates in maintaining a transparent and accountable land management system.
