Project Details
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Heroes Awards was an initiative of the Directorate General of Sports, KP, implemented by Nucleus Consultants, aimed at recognizing and celebrating the outstanding achievements of athletes who have brought pride to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan at both national and international levels.
Athletes from various sports disciplines, including Volleyball, Badminton, Squash, Archery, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Hockey, Tent Pegging, Free Style Polo, Karate, and Tennis, were honored for their remarkable contributions. A total of 17 awards were presented during the ceremony.
The event was graced by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ali Amin Gandapur, who attended as the Chief Guest. Each athlete’s journey and achievements were showcased through documentary features displayed on large screens prior to the award presentations. The ceremony also featured musical performances by renowned artists, including Humayun Khan and Junaid Kamran Saddique adding vibrancy to the evening.
