Project details:

Directorate Industries and Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, launched a project ” Awareness Seminars on Consumer Rights Protection Act Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” The project aim was to empower and inform consumers across the province. The sessions were designed to educate participants on their consumer rights, including the right to safe and quality products, fair pricing, and protection from misleading advertising and fraudulent practices. The attendees were also made aware of their role in reporting and seeking redress for any violations of these rights.
Awareness sessions featured presentations, informative pamphlets and interactive discussions. Participants learned how to identify deceptive marketing tactics, inspect product quality, and effectively voice their concerns. They were also informed about the mechanisms available for lodging complaints and seeking resolution.
