Project Details:
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U-23 Inter Regional Games 2024, held in May 2024, successfully brought together 1850 players across seven divisions—D.I. Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Hazara, and Malakand—for a dynamic three-day sporting event. The games featured a wide array of competitions for both male and female athletes, including badminton, squash, table tennis, volleyball, karate, athletics, football, hockey, throwball, taekwondo, and cricket for males, and badminton, squash, table tennis, volleyball, judo, athletics, hockey, and taekwondo for females. Hosted at premier venues such as Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar Sports Complex, Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex, Tehmas Football Stadium, University of Peshawar, and Kohat Sports Complex, the event was sponsored by the Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and implemented by Nucleus Consultants. The successful execution of this project not only showcased the region’s athletic talent but also fostered a competitive spirit and enhanced the overall sports culture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
