Project Details:
To celebrate the literature, a national literature festival was initiated by City district government Peshawar , headed by Mayor Peshawar Mr. Arbab Asim. The national literate festival was organised at Nishtar Hall Peshawar. The festival was categorised into three different segments. – Artist’s Exhibition, Poetry Session & Ghazal Night. About 1700 individuals witnessed the happening and were entertained with their fullest.
1- Art Exhibition
Ali Sajid displayed his work, who is famous for water colour painting globally. Also, the emerging students from fine and arts department university of Peshawar had the chance to bring their wonderful work. 10 Peshawar based fine artist displayed their work.
2- Poetry Session
Thirty poet and poetess of numerous dialects i-e Urdu, Saraiki, Pashtu & Hinku from all over Pakistan were engaged including Amjad Islam Amjad, Kishwar Naheed, Saad Ullah Barq, Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Mushtaq Shabab, Darvish Durrani Abaseen Yousafzai, Iqbal Shakir, Bushra Farrukh, Farooq Jan Babar, Hussain Ahmad Sadiq etc.
3- Ghazal Night
The famous classical singer Mr. Ustad Hamid Ali khan enchanted the entertainment starved Peshawarites with his melodic voice for three hours in Nishtar hall.
